Food and wine tour "The Via Emilia, the Valley of Wonders", 7 nights.
The proposal is based on two nights in Parma and 5 in Bologna to calmly enjoy the beauties from Parma to Bologna and beyond.
The Via Emilia, the Strada dei Sapori par excellence, the ancient Roman communication route between the Adriatic and northern Italy and then Europe, the way of products known all over the world, food and not, because Emilia is the Food Valley but also the Wellness Valley and the Motor Valley, land of well-being and land of engines and do not surprise this combination, Because here the territory is one harmonious with passions and functional to the quality of life. A trip along this road is part of those things that you have to do once in a lifetime, even two, three, as many as you want, it will always be a pleasant surprise.
First day – Arrival in Parma
Meeting at the airport or station with your guide, transfer by minivan to a 4 * hotel very well located in the city center and accommodation.

Second Day – Parma, Verdi and Culatello, timeless symphonies.
Today we head towards the Po river, precisely in Zibello, a small town that hides a millenary passion that has given us one of the most precious products of this region, precious and exclusive because only in these 5 square kilometers is produced the Culatello di Zibello.
We will visit the beautiful village / Castle of Corte Pallavicina (included), transformed into a farmhouse and restaurant that offers all the products of the place.
After visiting the village we will pass to the Culatello Museum with tasting of products (included), before sitting down at the table and tasting the dishes that the starred chef Massimo Spigaroli will prepare for us at Corte Pallavicini or at the Cavallino Bianco Restaurant (basic menu included). Tasting menu + 50,00 €, traditional menu + 20,00 €
In the afternoon return to Parma passing through the Castle of Torrebianca and the splendid Reggia di Colorno, now home to ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine (included)

Third day – From Parma to Bologna, a valley two thousand years long.
The day begins (7:30) to be able to watch the "rise" of the wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano with tasting of the various seasonings (included)
We will continue the day taking the road to Langhirano, where we will visit the Castle of Torrechiara (included) and before arriving at the farmhouse with a panoramic view of the city of Parma, to have lunch with the flavors of local products (included).
In the afternoon visit to the Parma Ham Museum with tasting (included) and continue to Bologna, crossing Reggio Emilia and Modena.

Fourth day – Bologna, the learned, the fat, the wise.
After a busy day a bit of relaxation. Today we will visit Bologna with a local guide who will show you all the secrets of the Italian capital of gastronomy, the places of ancient tradition, the markets, the magic, the surprises and the oldest University in the world, tasting the products of the territory in the shops of the quadrilateral of taste (included).
In the afternoon (option 80,00 € ) coking class of the Cesarine, the keepers of rigor in the preparation of the famous and delicious fresh Emilian pasta and dinner home restaurant ( option 40,00 € )

Fifth day – Bologna/Modena where passion runs slow as a fairy tale, fast as an idea.
We dedicate this day to the Strada dei Castelli e Ciliegi, in the hills between Bologna and Modena, two friendly and enemy cities that share the paternity of the invention of tortellini of which we will tell you more along the way.
Today we will see how the slowest product in the world, combines perfectly with the fastest car in the world in a rich and generous territory.
Tastings, discoveries, ancient and modern farmhouses, breathtaking landscapes and a lunch of good food and the pleasure of living it with those who prepare our dishes.

Sixth day – Bologna / Forlimpopoli where Italian gastronomy is born.
The Via Emilia today takes us today to Forlimpopoli, a small town an hour from Bologna and half an hour from Ravenna, a few kilometers from the sea, on the last hills of the Apennines.
The city is famous for being the birthplace of Pellegrino Artusi, a merchant with a passion for travel and cooking. In 1891 he wrote "La Scienza in Cucina e l'Arte di Mangiar Bene", the first book that tells the united Italy from the point of view of local gastronomic cultures.
After visiting Casa Artusi we can participate in a coking class of two hours where we will learn to prepare fresh pasta that we will then taste for lunch (included).
In the afternoon return to Bologna with a stop in the beautiful Dozza, a unique medieval village, dominated by the Rocca in whose dungeons is located the Enoteca regionale dell'Emilia Romagna, where we can taste excellent wines accompanied by a sommelier and local products (included).
