I’m an Aussie who has spent my last 23 years in the Eternal City learning about Italy first hand. As I picked up the language, I began to immerse myself in Italian culture and integrate into Italian society. It was a natural progression for me to then study its incredible three thousand year history, and explore every corner of this incredibly diverse and unique country. For the last seven years, it has been my pleasure to lead groups and pass on just some of the knowledge I have gained. Italian regional cuisine was and still is my first passion, so diverse between regions yet common in its high quality and local cultural significance. Some of my favourite things to do show visitors are the high quality production of unique products like olive oil from the Sabina and lemons from Amalfi, and use these in practical cooking lessons with locals. I’m extremely excited to be a part of this new project, that aims to offer our clients a new and more intimate travel experience, one that is closely connected to Italy’s diverse territories.
